MADISON (WKOW) – UW System Regents will meet with lawmakers on Thursday to discuss the system's multi-million dollar reserve.
A number of legislators have been clashing with UW Regents since learning the system had a large $650 million reserve, but they were still increasing tuition.
The meeting on campus on Thursday is described as a "frank talk" to improve collaboration.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senators Alberta Darling and Shiela Harsdorf are among those attending.
