UPDATE: Police say juveniles are persons of interests in shooting


MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police Department said they currently have identified two juveniles as people of interest in the Theresa Terrace shooting.

The incident happened around 9:45 p.m. on September 6th.  Police say a 29-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound.  Officers say her injury could be life-threatening.

Currently, the incident does not appear to be random.  Police believe there is no threat to the neighborhood.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police are investigating a shooting on the city's West side.

The Dane County Communications Center says a report came in around 9:45 p.m. Friday that someone had been shot in the 1400 block of Theresa Terrace.

Authorities say a woman was taken to the hospital. Officers say she was shot once and her injury could be life-threatening.

Madison Police brought in K9 units to search the area. Officers say they haven't narrowed down a suspect yet, but are working with several leads at this time.

Witnesses tell 27 News that they saw several people fleeing the area after the gunshot was fired.
