KEWAUNEE (WKOW) -- Kewaunee County authorities are seeking to charge four teens accused of unlocking a bobcat cage at a zoo and allowing one to briefly escape.
The Press-Gazette Media says the suspects were identified using surveillance cameras, as well as help from social-media users.
Authorities say the four stole keys for zoo pens and storage buildings at Bruemmer County Park last month. The suspects opened a bobcat cage. One bobcat escaped, but staff found it and recovered it quickly.
Deputies are asking prosecutors to charge the four teenagers with theft and unauthorized release of animals.
All three suspects are 17 years old.
