KENOSHA (WKOW) -- The Menominee tribe has a new ad that puts pressure on Governor Walker to approve a proposed casino in Kenosha.
The ad's pitch isn't about the gaming, but about jobs.
It urges people to call the governor and tell him to approve the casino.
"If Governor Walker wants to keep his promise to create 25,000 new jobs, here are up to 5,000 that he can create with one stroke of a pen," says Menominee Tribe spokesman Evan Zeppos.
Part of the governor's approval process is to have a consensus among all Wisconsin tribes.
The Forest County Potawatomi tribe is concerned a casino in Kenosha could take away jobs from its facility in Milwaukee.
