MADISON (WKOW) -- More than five million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, and this weekend you can help to find a cure at the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's here in Madison.
The annual event is on Sunday, September 15 at Monona Terrace. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 2.5 mile walk kicks of at 10:00 a.m. WKOW is a proud sponsor of the walk.
Kari Paterson, the executive director for the Alzheimer's Association South Central Wisconsin Chapter, Kris Owens, a team captain for the walk, and Owen's son, Ryan, joined us on 27 News at 5 on Tuesday.
