MADISON (WKOW) -- 27 News got a look inside the new Madison Central Library.
To call it state of the art may be an understatement.
The $29.8 million library is a lot bigger and includes a 10,000 square foot room for kids, families and groups.
The whole building will have Wi-Fi and they've nearly quadrupled the number of computer stations, there are now 100.
But perhaps the most impressive technology access is in what's called the media lab.
Library director Greg Mikells says, "That's going to be equipped with the latest software and hardware for video editing and soundboard recording, with a whole variety of software. And, we've hired staff specifically trained to provide that to the public."
The two year central library project officially ends with the grand re-opening, September 21.
