DODGE COUNTY (WKOW) -- A construction worker hit along a Dodge County highway is out of the hospital.
The man was flagging traffic on Highway 26 north of Watertown.
Authorities say a semi rear-ended a van, which hit an oncoming van, and the second van hit the flag man.
The 29-year-old was treated and released from the hospital.
One of the drivers was also taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
DODGE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Two people are injured on Friday after a multiple vehicle crash on South Highway 26 near Wilson Road in Dodge County. The highway was shut down for more than two hours for the investigation.
Dodge County Sheriff's Department stated that the accident occurred near a construction site on the highway. A van was struck from behind, sending it into oncoming traffic. The van then hit a northbound vehicle, sending it onto the east shoulder of the highway, striking a construction worker.
The 67-year-old man driving the original van that was struck from behind was transported by ambulance to Beaver Dam Community Hospital. Kurt Zuelsdorf, 29, who was the construction worker struck during the accident, was taken by Flight for Life to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.
An ongoing investigation is currently underway.
