MADISON (WKOW) -- The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County received a big boost on Friday to help low-income students graduate from high school.
The club received a $725,000 donation from Great Lakes Higher Education, as well as a $400,000 donation from local businesses and foundations throughout Dane County.
Michael Johnson, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club, also announced on Friday a new scholarship fund for kids in the "Avid/Tops" program. This new fund is aimed specifically to allow them to attend Madison College.
