MADISON (WKOW) – WKOW's Wake Up Wisconsin team wore yellow ribbons on Wednesday to celebrate a brave little girl's birthday and honor all children with cancer.
Brinley from Sauk City is turning 5-years-old on Wednesday and is celebrating more than just another year older. Brinley was diagnosed with cancer when she was 3-years-old and is now cancer free.
Wake Up Wisconsin wishes Brinley the best and a very Happy Birthday and we want to recognize all children who are dealing with cancer.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and many children have to suffer through this disease. Brinley was lucky, but so many children aren't.
