TOWN OF BLOOMING GROVE (WKOW) -- Dane County Sheriff's Office says a 58-year-old Madison woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash this morning.
Initial investigation says sun glare was the cause of the crash. A motorcyclist and the victim's vehicle crashed shortly before 7 a.m. The victim exited her vehicle, and was struck and killed by a third vehicle.
A chain reaction started and the accident involved a total of eight cars. Four others have non-life threatening injuries and were transported to hospitals.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The name will be released after the family has been notified.
A witness reported a dark colored vehicle was in front of the victim's vehicle at the time of the crash.

Officers diverted traffic onto East Washington Avenue while Dane County Sheriff's Department oversee the crash site.
MADISON (WKOW) -- Around 7 a.m. on September 21, a crash occurred on Highway 30 at Highway 151. All east-bound lanes were closed due to the accident.
According to Dane County Communications, the crash was between a motorcycle and a car.
