MADISON (WKOW) -- UW-Madison police say 26 people were arrested at the Big Ten season opener at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday.
Police report 24 people were cited and ejected from the 2:30 p.m kickoff game against Purdue for underage drinking. Two were arrested for possession of alcohol and one for having a fake ID.
UW Police say they handed out 27 tickets in total, 19 of those to UW students. 64 people were ejected from the game, 39 of them students.
The highest blood alcohol level recorded was 0.312.
