ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- A two vehicle accident pins three people.
According to the Rock County Sheriff's Department, about 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, Rock and Walworth County deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 14 just west of the intersection of County Highway-C in Bradford Township.
Both drivers and one occupant were pinned in the cars. All three people were taken to local hospitals.
Initial investigation at the scene revealed a white Buick Regal heading westbound on U.S. Highway 14 veered into the eastbound lane and struck a gray Toyota Corolla in a head on collision.
According to the Rock County Sheriff's Department, it was determined that alcohol was a contributing factor for the accident. Blockage due to the accident resulted in traffic being diverted from U.S. Highway 14 for approximately two hours.
The two occupants from the Toyota, identified as William and Michelle Solger were listed in stable, but with possible life threatening injuries. The driver of the Buick was Scott Moe from Janesville. He had minor injuries.
Moe was arrested for causing great bodily harm by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle along with receiving citations for operating left of the centerline and operating while intoxicated.
