MADISON (WKOW) -- Every hour, someone is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and on Thursday, you can help in the fight to find a cure for the disease at the "On the Move Madison" fundraiser.
Madison's Children's Museum will be filled with fine wine, food and music on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On the Move Madison will include a sampling of acclaimed Madison restaurants, a silent auction and a short MS research update by Dr. Aaron Field, an associate professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Field will also perform alongside members of his band, Fringe Field.
Admission is $50 per person and must be purchased in advance of the event. The fundraising event benefits multiple sclerosis-related research.
Libby Gerds, an On the Move Wisconsin Committee member, and Molly Walsh, the chairperson for the On the Move Wisconsin Committee and a Board of Trustees member for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Wisconsin Chapter, joined us on 27 News at 5.
