MARSHFIELD (WKOW) -- Parents and students at one central Wisconsin high school are concerned their dance team may disband.
That's after the coach was fired following a team performance to a popular, but racy song.
Marshfield dance coach Lisa Jolin was fired in August, three days after her team performed to an edited version of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."
Jolin says school leaders told her the school received complaints about the dance routine, but she says she didn't hear any of them.
"I got no specifications on how many phone calls were made, no specifics on what was said, no specifics on exactly what they were unhappy with. Was it the performance, was it the movement, the song choice?"
The district superintendent says Jolin was removed for "Appropriate reasons and following district protocols."
2 of the 7 team members have quit since Jolin was fired.
