MADISON (WKOW) -- Wednesday night, the Madison School District and its teachers announced agreements on new contracts.
MMSD and the teachers' union, Madison Teachers Inc, have tentative deals for one-year contracts for each of MTI's 5 bargaining units.
Those groups account for about 4,800 district employees.
The district also reached agreements with workers from two other unions.
All of the deals need to be approved by the Board of Education.
