Uncle & nephew busted for growing marijuana

BELOIT (WKOW) -- Investigators in Rock County arrested an uncle and his nephew who they say were growing marijuana on their property.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team searched the property at 7902 S. CTH H in Beloit on Wednesday, October 2. During the search, officers found 25 marijuana plants in a corn field. 18 marijuana plants were found inside the home, along with 82 lbs. of marijuana in the processing stage. 

Officers also found a loaded handgun.

They arrested 32-year-old Dustin Frederick and 56-year-old David Frederick.

Both are scheduled to be in court Friday. Dustin faces tentative charges of manufacturing THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug house and possession of a firearm by a felon. David faces tentative charges of maintaining a drug house and obstruction.
