MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin officials are reminding people of the importance of safety, after a recent ATV death.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Bureau of Law Enforcement, 18 people have died across the state in ATV-UTV crashes. This week, a rider was killed on a state trail in Sawyer County.
Wardens say the death total is the highest it's been since 2009, and a reminder to all users to be always thinking about safety when riding.
