MADISON (WKOW) – The search for a Wausau woman who went missing about three years ago has turned into a homicide investigation.
Wausau Police say they believe Stephanie Low was murdered the night she went missing from her apartment in 2010.
On Wednesday, Wausau Police Chief Jeff Hardel said Kristopher Torgerson is a suspect in Low's death and disappearance. However, he has not been charged with any crime connected to Low.
Police won't comment on what evidence has been found to come to this conclusion but Chief Hardel says drugs are involved in this investigation.
