MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Badger football team takes on Northwestern on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.
This is no ordinary game, it's homecoming! WKOW sponsors a special Badger Bash. The football game starts at 2:30 p.m. and Badger Bash kicks off at Union South at 12:30 p.m. Our Amber Noggle will host the event.
Badger Bash on Saturday includes: A brief look at the habits and rituals of Wildcat fans, The Bucky Wagon, Bucky Badger, The UW Marching Band, The UW Spirit Squad and much more.
The UW-Madison homecoming parade will be on Friday night starting at 6:00 and traffic may be an issue downtown. Starting at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Langdon Street from Lake Street to Wisconsin Avenue will be blocked off. These will not reopen until after the parade around 8:30 p.m.
The 400 block of West Gilman Street and the 600 and 700 block of State Street will be closed for the parade. Also, the 500 and 600 blocks of Lake Street.
Parade organizers encourage people to be aware and patient downtown on Friday night.
