MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- Dane County Sheriff's Office says a man arrested for OWI during a hit-and-run resisted his arrest.
Around 2 a.m. on October 13, deputies responded to a minor hit-and-run at the Silk Exotic Gentleman's Club on Highway 14 in Middleton.
24-year-old Kristian Olson of Belleville attempted to drive away before officers arrived, but got stuck in a parking lot. He ran away, but officers were able to persuade him to return.
Olson was arrested for 1st Offense OWI. While driven to the Dane County Jail, Olson started to bang his head on the cage that separates him from the officer. The officer pulled over and called for assistance in restraining Olson.
Olson was transported to the hospital and treated for minor self induced injuries. Olson was then taken to Dane County Jail. He is being charged with OWI 1st Offense and Obstructing/Resisting an Officer. He was also cited for the Hit and Run.
