MADISON (WKOW) – The state Assembly is set to debate a bill on Tuesday that would increase the speed limit on Wisconsin's interstates.
The proposed measure would increase the current speed limit from 65 mph to 70 mph on the interstates.
If the measure is approved, the Department of Transportation would also have to study raising the limit on other four-lane highways within a year.
If it is approved, the bill will head to the Senate.
