MADISON (WKOW) – UW-Madison Athletic Director Barry Alvarez has been chosen to be part of the College Football Selection Committee.
Alvarez is one of five current Athletic Directors already named.
Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and former NFL quarterback Archie Manning are also part of the committee.
The committee will pick the four teams to play in the national semifinals. The winners will play about a week later for the national championship.
