LOS ANGELES (WKOW) ---- A new Los Angeles cafe allows you to enjoy traditional Taiwanese cuisine in a not-so-traditional way. Guests eat from toilet-shaped bowls while sitting on toilet seats.
The owner of the new Magic Restroom Cafe says the idea is based on a successful genre of restaurants in China and Taiwan.
As for how it will go here in the U.S., no one knows.
The porcelain toilet-shaped serving bowls are all purchased from Japan and come in two types: standard Western or squat, which are more common for bathrooms in Chinese and Taiwan.
