OHIO (WKOW) – Six people are dead after a police cruiser and another vehicle crashed into each other Friday morning.
Investigators say the officer was driving with flashing lights and siren on while responding to a robbery at a local McDonald's in the Columbus suburb of Upper Arlington.
Police say the two vehicles crashed at an intersection. All six people in the civilian vehicle died, including a two-year-old.
Officials say the officer was taken to a local hospital with a head injury, but he is expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators are not sure which driver had a green light at the time of the crash.
