LA CROSSE (WKOW) -- Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke met with small business owners in La Crosse Saturday. She says she doesn't feel the state's current policies are creating jobs.
"We're still clawing our way back. Jobs bring money to any community, and they're not seeing the amount of spending that's going to help their businesses expand and create new jobs," she says.
Burke says if elected, she plans to invest in infrastructure and entrepreneurs. She's a former executive at Trek Bicycle and state Secretary of Commerce.
