MADISON (WKOW) -- People looking into senior living facilities got some free help in Madison Saturday.
The 3rd annual Family Caregiver Resource Fair was held at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center. People were able to attend workshops and meet with representatives from 35 community-based organizations that serve as caregivers.
"I had a care giving experience that was very difficult and after it ended I just decided that I really wanted to help other caregivers ease their experience by becoming involved in the care giving network," event organizer Diane Walder tells 27 News.
Those in attendance could learn about how to choose senior housing and home care options.
