DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Dane county residents will have a chance to sound off Thursday night at a public hearing on the proposed 2014 budget.
The $553 million plan includes capital and operating expenses. It would mean a tax increase for homeowners, about $18 on the average Madison home. The public hearing begins at 7:00 p.m. at the city county building.
Board members will consider amendments to the budget in the next few weeks. The full board will take up the budget on November 18.
