MADISON (WKOW) -- According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan is calling on Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to resign over technical problems plaguing the federal health care exchange.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Rep. Ryan said Sebelius should step down during a phone conversation with Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
Ryan tells the newspaper he agrees with that. He says the rollout of the federal health exchange website has been a fiasco, in contrast to Sebelius' assurances to lawmakers earlier that the launch would go smoothly.
The letter Ryan sent Wednesday asked Sebelius to detail the costs of the "tech surge" the Obama administration plans to fix the system.
