ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- A Janesville man is arrested for his fourth OWI offense after deputies say he was driving on the wrong side of the road.
The Rock County Sheriff's Office says around 1:12 a.m. Friday, a deputy saw an SUV going north in the southbound lanes of U.S. 51 near West B/R Townline Road. The deputy stopped the vehicle and smelled intoxicants coming from the driver, Thomas Kotlowski, 50, of Janesville.
The deputy gave Kotlowski a field sobriety test, which the sheriff's office says he failed. Kotlowski was arrested for OWI.
A check of Department of Transportation records shows Kotlowski has three prior OWI convictions. He was taken to the Rock County Jail and booked for 4th offense OWI.
The sheriff's office says Kotlowski's blood alcohol concentration at the time of his arrest was .23. He was also cited for Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Operating Left of Center.
