2nd Annual Feast for the Turkeys at Heartland Farm Sanctuary
MADISON (WKOW) -- Heartland Farm Sanctuary likes to celebrate each Thanksgiving by honoring the rescued animals who call their sanctuary home.
The 2nd Annual "Feast for the Turkeys" will take place on Saturday, November 23 at noon at the Heartland Farm Sanctuary barn in Verona. The barn is just 10 minutes from West Towne Mall.
It will be a heartwarming event where you can meet the guests of honor and serve them a delicious feast of squash, pumpkin pie, cranberries, and stuffing.
The Adopt a Turkey Project has been designed to encourage people to save a turkey at Thanksgiving through sponsorships that help Heartland Farm Sanctuary provide care for their rescued turkeys, as well as educate and advocate for turkeys and other farm animals everywhere.
