Obama administration: Check with insurance company on coverage

WASHINGTON (WKOW) — Those using healthcare.gov say the website is running better but there may be some new problems with the website.

While many are reporting vast improvements signing up for health insurance, some people who have enrolled and are told they do have a policy are finding out the insurance companies have no record of it.

The Obama administration advises people to contact their insurance company to verify they have coverage.  If it doesn't show up then they are advised to start the process all over again.

In the meantime, the White House is kicking off a new effort on Tuesday to put the focus back on the benefits of the new healthcare law.
