ADRC celebrates one year of helping senior citizens and their families

MADISON (WKOW) -- A local organization celebrates its one year anniversary of helping seniors and people with disabilities.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dane County has taken at least 15,000 calls. The new program helps if you have aging parents and want services so they can stay in their homes or if you are a person with a disability or need a full time caregiver.

The ADRC helps seniors and people with developmental disabilities and people with physical disabilities. The ADRC's information and referral assistance is available free of charge regardless of income and is unbiased.
The center is funded by the State of Wisconsin.
