Man accused of triple homicide in court for another competency hearing
MADISON (WKOW) -- The man accused of a triple homicide in Lafayette County will appear for another competency hearing.
Jaren Kuester was ruled not competent to stand trial in October, but will be reevaluated on Wednesday.
Authorities say he killed Gary and Chloe Thoreson and Gary's brother Dean after breaking into a home and stealing clothes and money. Kuester's parents say they tried and failed to get their son institutionalized because of his mental health issues.
