UPDATE: No injuries in Sun Prairie car v. house crash


SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- Early Thursday morning, Sun Prairie police were called to a traffic accident at 866 Steven Street.

The owners stated a vehicle crashed into their home.  The structure sustained damage, but no one was injured.

Sun Prairie Utilities arrived and assisted by turning off the power to the damaged part of the home.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, 29-year-old Joseph Kramer, was cited for inattentive driving and failure to have control. 

SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- A car crashed into a house in Sun Prairie early Thursday morning. 

According to the Sun Prairie Police Department, no one was injured when the car collided into the home on Steven street. 

Originally, authorities thought the car had trapped someone inside of the house, but later learned that was not the case. 

No word yet as to what caused the crash. Police could not say if speed, alcohol or road conditions played a role.
