MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County is holding off on construction of another cow-powered electric facility.
County supervisors voted Thursday night to send approval of a new manure digester back to a committee.
This facility is set to be built in the Town of Bristol.
It comes after a recent spill of more than 300,000 gallons of manure at a digester near Waunakee.
Supervisors want the committee to look at the new facility's plans to see if there are any lessons to be learned from the spill.
