MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison's Comic Book Convention was held at the Howard Johnson on East Washington Ave. Saturday afternoon.
The organizer of the event says collectors come looking for deals and the rare items you just can't find in the store.
"We have a number of dealers from four different states come here with comics ranging all the way from ones that came out this year back to the 1940s and prices ranging from hundreds of bucks to 50 cents. So there's something for everyone," organizer Alan Morton tells 27 News.
Morton says the event normally draws about 150 people, but he thinks fewer people came because of the cold. The convention will come back to Madison on March 8 of 2014.
