Cranberry market oversaturated with berries

MADISON (WKOW) -- There's trouble for Wisconsin's cranberry growers.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports because of good yields over the past few years, there are now too many cranberries on the market. That means prices for the product are falling.

The president of Wisconsin Cranberry Cooperative tells the Journal Sentinel this is the worst time he's ever seen in the cranberry industry.

Wisconsin is the leading producer of cranberries in the nation.
