IRON RIVER (WKOW) -- Authorities in Bayfield County are investigating the deaths of two people at a residence in Iron River.
A statement from the Iron River Police Department says an altercation happened around 6:15 p.m. Saturday. Deputies found a man and a woman dead in the home. Another man was injured and taken to a hospital.
According to the Duluth news Tribune, Iron River Police Chief Scot Eisenhauer says the injured man is considered a suspect, and they are not looking for any other suspects at this time. Eisenhauer declined to give details about the victims' injuries.
Names have not been released.
The Bayfield County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation with help from the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
