MADISON (WKOW) -- The UW football team started preparing on Monday to play South Carolina in the Capital One Bowl.
And Badger fans are getting ready, as well.
Burkhalter Travel reports a steady flow of calls, from fans inquiring about a trip to Orlando for the New Year's Day game.
Even though the Badgers' bowl destination wasn't known till Sunday night, agencies have been planning for multiple possibilities since last month.
"We actually start researching the packages and putting them together in early to mid-November, so that we're all ready to go, to pull the trigger, once the official announcement is made," said Burkhalter president Ed Mani.
Mani says he expects interest in a bowl trip will be a little lower this year, because the Capital One Bowl is less prestigious than the Rose Bowl.
However, he also points out that the package to Orlando will be less expensive than the Pasadena trips.
