FOND DU LAC (WKOW) -- A police standoff in Fond du Lac Monday ended with a man in custody.
Officials believe the standoff may be connected to a house fire that happened Monday morning.
Police say the man holed up in an apartment and fired at officers but nobody was hurt.
"Our swat negotiators were able to make contact with him during this incident, they were able to talk to him periodically throughout and eventually just convinced him to come out and surrender to perimeter units," says Assistant Police Chief Steve Thiry.
Police say the man made threats about possible explosive devices.
People in the neighborhood had been told to stay in their homes while officers search the area.
