MADISON (WKOW) -- Police arrested a man after he tried to enter cars with the drivers still inside.

Madison Police Department says around 11 p.m. Saturday, 23-year-old Trae Russell Robison entered a car that was stopping on the 700 block of Lorillard Court.

Robison told the driver to take him where he wanted to go, but Robison did not threaten him or show a weapon.  The driver and a friend told Robison to leave, but they had to force him out of the car.  Robison bit the driver, which caused some significant bruising.

Before this incident, police received a couple of other calls about a man trying to get into cars in the same area.  Police believe it to be Robison.

According to the police report, Robison was "speaking gibberish" and believed to be under the influence of some substance.
