MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Bucks owner Herb Kohl says he's looking for new ownership partners to guarantee the franchise's long-term future in Milwaukee.
Kohl said he has retained Steve Greenberg, managing director of Allen & Co., to advise him on potential partners. Kohl said in a statement any new partners would "need to be as committed to keeping the team in Milwaukee as I am." Kohl also said the team needs a new arena.
The team scheduled a Monday afternoon news conference to discuss his plan.
Kohl, 78, has owned the Bucks since 1985.
