MADISON (WKOW) -- Children at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison got to celebrate Christmas a little early.
Monday, players from the Madison Mustangs Football team delivered gifts to the kids.
They say it was all about giving back.
"We try to do everything we can in the community to get out there and not only give ourselves a better name, but just use our abilities and the fact that we're still able to play this game that we all enjoy. We try to help out the community and here with the kids today has been great. Hopefully we can make some little future Mustang fans," says Ryan Aschaker.
The players also showed the kids their 2013 championship trophy.
The Madison Mustangs are a semi-pro team.
