SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- A Sun Prairie man is arrested after police say he was making methamphetamine in his apartment.

Police got a tip about the home at 205 South Bird Street. When officers went to investigate, they found the resident of that apartment leaving the building. Investigators say Brandon J. Fletcher, 22, had in his possession all the necessary items to make meth.

Officers searched his home and found more materials used in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Fletcher was taken to the Dane County Jail and charged with one count of Possessing Materials for Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

All materials have been removed from the apartment and police say the scene is safe. They report there is no danger to the surrounding residences of the community.
