MADISON (WKOW) -- A former associate of Governor Walker who was convicted in the John Doe probe is getting out of prison early.
A court ordered 63-year-old Kevin Kavanaugh be released within 30 days.
The State Department of Corrections said he completed certain requirements of an early release program.
Kavanaugh has served a little more than half of his 2-year prison sentence.
He was convicted last year of stealing more than $50,000 meant for veterans.
