TOWN OF SYLVESTER (WKOW) -- Three people, two of them children, are injured after a crash on Highway 11.
Green County Sheriff's Department says the crash happened around 9:45 p.m. Friday near the Town of Sylvester. Investigation shows 50-year-old Tracey L. Schollmeyer from Hudsonville, Michigan lost control of her vehicle while driving down Highway 11 near Hartwig Road.
Schollmeyer's car collided head on with a semi. Her car spun into a ditch. Tracey Schollmeyer, 13-year-old Sophie Schollmeyer, and 10-year-old Isabella Schollmeyer were injured and transferred to a hospital.
The semi-driver was injured, but he was treated at the scene.
Police say ice was a factor in the crash. Parts of Highway 11 were closed for approximately four hours. The accident is still under investigation.
