Rock County man arrested for 4th OWI

BELOIT TOWNSHIP (WKOW) -- A Rock County man is in jail Monday morning after being arrested for his 4th OWI. 

According to the Rock County Sheriff's Office, 31-year-old Jacob Bauman of Beloit, was stopped for speeding near S. Afton Rd and W. Beloit Newark Rd in Beloit Township Sunday night. 

Upon contact, the Deputy noticed signs of intoxication and could smell intoxicants coming from Bauman. When the Deputy requested he complete Field Sobriety Testing, Bauman refused and was arrested for his 4th offense operating while intoxicated violation. Bauman was also cited for operating while revoked and speeding. 

Bauman was taken to the Rock County jail and is being held for court Monday.
