UPDATE (WKOW) --- Monona Police say she was found in Minnesota because of a tip that was called in.
UPDATE (WKOW) -- Monona police have reason to believe a missing woman may be somewhere in the Minneapolis area.
Police say Montserrat Zacarias, 25, walked away from a mental health care facility in Monona. She was last seen at the intersection of Monona Drive and Dean Avenue around noon on Tuesday.
Thanks to calls from the public, police say Zacarias was seen in the Sauk City area asking for a ride to the Minneapolis area. Her family tells police she has no friends or family in Wisconsin or Minnesota.
Zacarias suffers from mental health issues and may not be able to care for herself in the cold weather.
