WAUKESHA (AP) -- No charges will be filed in the death of a well-known Milwaukee makeup artist who died in a fire in her home.

Sarah Brucker, 36, died from soot and smoke inhalation during the Aug. 7 fire in her condo in the Town of Delafield.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel recently decided not to pursue charges in Brucker's death.
In a Dec. 17 letter to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, Schimel wrote that although the fire's cause remains undetermined, there is no evidence that it was intentionally set and no sign of an accelerant.
Schimel says authorities may never know exactly why Brucker was unable to make her way to a nearby exit.
Schimel also wrote that no suspects were identified during the investigation.
