FOND DU LAC (WKOW) -- Multiple shots were fired early Saturday morning, but a man's belt buckle saved him from serious injury.
According to the Fond du Lac Police Department, four shots were fired around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday near Main Street and 2nd Street.
A 30-year-old man from Fond du Lac was hit; however, the man's belt buckle stopped the bullets from causing serious injury.
The suspects ran away from the scene, but officers were able to catch them. One suspect is a 34-year-old man from Fond du Lac and is currently being held in jail in connection to the shooting. The other suspect was released after questioning.
Police are still investigating the shooting. It is unclear what led to the altercation.
